Paul Peters

Radio Presenter

Paul Peters has been involved in radio for almost 50 years, since he left home at the age of 16, in November 1965, to become Britain’s youngest ‘Offshore’ Pirate radio d.j. Broadcasting on Radio Essex from Knock John Fort 18 miles out into the Thames Estuary.
Later in the 70’s he presented shows for BBC Radio Medway, now re-named BBC Radio Kent. In May 2006 he was asked to tell his story on BBC’s national network, Radio 4.
After doing that he so much wanted to get back behind a microphone with his own show again. So a few months later he contacted a local station in the New Forest and asked if he could have a look around sometime and within a week he was back on the air with a new show, yes, ‘The Fabulous 50’s Radio Show‘.
Paul Peters also presents several other weekly radio shows. In 2007 and again in 2009 he was asked, by the BBC, to take part in ‘Pirate BBC Essex’ the BBC’s recreation of a 1960’s offshore pirate station, where Paul was asked to used his old pirate radio name Paul Freeman.

JES

Radio Presenter

Born and bred in New York city, JES started singing and writing songs and from early age.
After answering an advert in the village voice her first professional recordings were made at the tender age of 14.
JES tirelessly developed her craft over the coming years and gained a reputation amongst NY’s elite producers as the voice that could sell any song.
Her own success however didn’t materialize until she moved to California.
Befriending and working with DJ’s and producers from the developing electronic music scene JES found a new channel for her music.
The first major success came with world renowned DJ Paul Van Dykk’s “Politics Of Dancing” compilation.
“P-O-D” opened the door to a flood of collaboration requests.
Shortly after it’s release JES wrote and recorded “As The Rush Comes” with unknown Bay Area DJ’s Gabriel & Dresden. The song helped to redefine the landscape of modern dance music.
JES soulful voice and edgy autobiographical songwriting was a refreshing departure for the electronic music world and helped to define the song’s genre blurring sound.
After meeting Tiesto to talk about collaborating the worlds #1 DJ signed her to his own label. Four artist albums followed and JES has also collaborated with a host of the industry’s best talent.
As her touring developed so did JES DJ skills and this led to her now
famous weekly mix show “Unleash The Beat”.
The success of the show also prompted her to develop the “Unleash The Beat” mix compilation series released worldwide by Magik Muzik.
Whether she’s releasing her own songs, DJ’ing or joining forces with the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, BT, Ferry Corsten or ATB her unmistakable voice and touching songs have earned her an ever growing legion of fans.
